| I hope for Justine to get her justice. Whomever did this to that beautiful young woman is a coward and deserves to pay for the crime. My son Matthew was murdered in Feb 2006 I know your pain. He also did not receive justice even though the boy who did shoot him was arrested.It took the judge releasing him and him getting into an altercation with someone badder than him for my son to receive his justice as he is now dead too.I can only hope if this killer of Justine is not caught tried and convicted he suffers the same karmic fate. Stay strong and know there are thousands of us across the country who know exactly how you feel and are hugging you right now! We keep fighting to keep our children alive, for them to be proud of us until we can be together again. | Justine, Your dad and I put up a tree tonight. Not the same tree we have in years past, too painful to unpack the ornaments you made as a little girl and your baby rattles hung on the tree every year. I thought today about the last time we bought a tree together. It was the year you left Virginia and came to live with us in Tennessee. We about froze while waiting for you to choose the perfect tree. Just like when you were a little girl. Today is National Rememberance Day sponsored by Compassionate Friends. I lit your candle at 7:00 and thought about the light, and how that is you. The joy and light you spread around everything you touched is still here, even though you are not. What I would give to hold you one more time and tell you how much you are loved and missed. Love, Mom

| I never met Justine and only heard about the accident on the news. However, I was propoundly moved by the beautiful picture of her in the Hook recently. It is now at home where I will save it in my Bible. She, her family and all who knew her are in my thoughts, especially at this time. Peace,
